About:  LifeSource International is a non-profit organization in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  Our mission is to give a hand up, not just a hand out.  LifeSource uses a holistic approach to help individuals and families in need.  Our goal is to make a difference both now and for generations to come.  We help families in stress by customizing our services to meet their unique needs along with assisting them through programs and services.

LifeSource International is unique in providing a holistic approach designed around the entire family.  LifeSource helps children and families make better choices.  The primary objective is to instill positive values and living skills in children, adults and senior citizens in a welcoming, non-threatening environment.  All services are offered free of charge, to anyone in need of the service regardless of race, religious belief, language or residency.  LifeSource recognizes needs in four critical areas:

- Physical well-being
- Mental and emotional well-being
- Spiritual well-being
- Economic independence

Services:  LifeSource offers services to all ages as follows –

Adult Education Program:  Assistance is offered to individuals to help enhance their job skills and acquaint them with the characteristics necessary to be good employees.
Counseling:  Some families and individuals require counseling assistance to get back on track.  LifeSource offers counseling services to help those with special needs on a case-by-case basis.
Food Assistance:  LifeSource International provided food assistance to approximately 26.043 individuals/families in 2010.
Kid’s Life Programs:  Kid’s Life is a program developed by LifeSource International to ensure the social, educational and personal development of children in Northwest Arkansas.
Medical Referral: There are over 22,000 people in Washington and Benton counties without health insurance, Medicaid or Medicare.
Senior Citizen Programs:  Every 1st and 3rd Saturday, LifeSource offers a senior citizen luncheon. This program is designed to help seniors meet other people in the same walk of life through a meal and entertainment.

Volunteer Opportunities:  LifeSource has many opportunities for volunteers to get involved in each of their programs –

Adult Education Teaching/Assisting; JB Hunt Volunteers: Contact LifeSource for information concerning the types, times, and dates of classes visit the website and/or email Jimmie@lifesourceinternational.org or call 479-521-4000.
Food Storehouse: Flexible hours available- contact us to schedule your group.
Senior Saturdays: 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month; 9:30 a.m-1:30 p.m. Help prepare meals, set tables, serve food, interact with seniors, clean-up.
Kids Life After-School Program: September-May M-F/3:30-5:30
Community Meal Outreach (held at the Yvonne Richardson Center)
