There’s this thing happening over on our sister station KLRC this week called the Fall Fundraiser. Now, you’re probably familiar with Christian radio fundraisers, right? Less music, lots of talking… mostly repeated asks for donations that can go on for what seems like forever. Look, I get it. Normally I would put asking for money right at the top of my list of least favorite things to do. But over the last couple of years, I can honestly say that’s changed.
I’m passionate about what God is doing through the ministries of Real FM and KLRC. And during the Fall Fundraiser, it becomes really, really clear that a lot of you are passionate about what God is doing as well. Every fundraiser, we hear story after story about life-changing impact, and it’s the overwhelming outpouring of support from listeners during the fundraisers that makes those stories possible.
Real FM is just getting off the ground, but like our sister station, we’re listener supported. That means you play the key role in connecting people with God and with others because of something they will hear (whether through music or conversation) on Real FM. I believe God will use Real FM to share hope in Christ with people who otherwise might not hear it, but we need your support to make that happen.
